West Ridge Academy (the “Academy”) is a K-8 Core Knowledge Charter School chartered through the Greeley-Evans School District 6. The Academy currently serves 430 students and operates from an approximately 46,500 square foot building situated on 10.3 acres. The building was designed to accommodate an academic program with over 500 students. The Academy recently completed a $10,430,000 tax-exempt bond re-financing through CECFA that will save the Academy substantial interest payments and fund improvements to the campus including track and field upgrades. Through this financing, the Academy became one of just 30 Colorado charter schools admitted to the state’s “moral obligation” credit enhancement program, which allows only the most stable charter schools to borrow under the State of Colorado’s AA+ credit rating.
